About Me!
My name is Penelope Sofias!
I am currently a student attending Arizona State University studying Mass Communications and Media. Within this blog I will be exploring the ins and outs of misinformation and the media literacy tools that can be used to approach it. Misinformation lies everywhere and is often inconspicuous. Like many of you, I am an active user of social media and am inundated with such vast amounts of information and content. It can be difficult to discern what is real and what is not. As I grow and learn from my MCO Media Literacy II class, I will write on topics on how we can become more media literate users in a confusing online world.
